Desktop

A business required an inexpensive desktop conferencing for key employees in branch offices to save travel expenses and to improve communications.   We provided Polycom ViaVideo units.

A Federal Agency with multiple locations required a system to connect its branches over its existing Wide Area Network.  At the time, we provided Intel ProShare units for IP conferencing, although we would have used either Polycom ViaVideo units or Zydacron equipment today.

Room Conferencing

An Internet Services Provider required a complete video network, with the ability for users to call in using a variety of video conferencing endpoints and an assortment of types of cannectivity and bandwidth.  We designed a solution that combined an Accord Multi-Conferencing unit (MCU) with a RadVision gateway.

A national business required room conferencing to connect several locations.  We designed and provided an IP system using Polycom equipment and a MultiConferencing Unit (MCU).  The MCU enabled all locations to conference together, with the picture following on the current speaker.  This resulted in increased efficiency because of the ability to have an immediate conference without travelling.

International Business

A United States branch of a major European bank required video conferencing with it's European headquarters.  We provided A Sony Trinicom 5100Plus which  resulted in clear international conferencing, across the Atlantic Ocean, using multiple ISDN lines.

A military unit in the United States needed video contact with its counterpart in Europe.  We provided two Polycom Viewstation set -top units, enabling international ISDN video conferencing.

The Chief Executive of a major British public corporation required reliable video conferencing with his relative in the United States.  We supplied an Intel ProShare unit integrated into a high-end desktop personal computer in the US, and a similar system in the UK, through our European office.

Distance Learning

An educational institution required a complete multisite solution for classrooms.  We designed a solution which included, for each classroom, a video conferencing unit with a Sony Wide Angle Lens and two large display monitors, together with a central Multi Conferencing Unit.

Medical Applications

A rural health center required a video connection between spread-out branches.  We provided Polycom H.323 video conferencing units which enabled staff to discuss cases without travelling.

A hospital required connectivity between a department and the office of a specialist doctor.  We provided two video conferencing endpoints which produced clear, graphic 30 frames per second video for consultations.

Art Galleries

An art gallery required a way to showcase itself.  We provided an Axis 2400 video server with a Canon VC-C4 pan/tilt/zoom camera.   This was set up to be accessible on the internet, providing live video of the gallery openings on the web.
